Because writing two musicals at once wasn't enough (PRODIGALS and THE LUCK), we began dreaming up a story that would embrace our rural midwestern roots and pit it against roaring 1920's Chicago. As huge fans of the writing of novelist/poet David Athey, we pitched the idea and knew we were in for a wild ride when he and Tom returned with a finished book in just a few months! Michael and Joshua are knee deep in some of their greatest songwriting yet, and we can't wait until RADIO EM has its first official reading later this year.
